IELTS

IELTS is the world’s most popular test for higher education and global migration. IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System and is an international standardized test of English language proficiency for non-native English speakers. It is designed to assess the four skills of English – Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing – of candidates who need to study or work where English is used as the language of communication.

There are two versions of the IELTS: the Academic Version and the General Training Version:

  • The Academic Version is intended for those who want to enroll in universities and other institutions of higher education and for professionals who want to study or practice in an English-speaking country.
  • The General Training Version is intended for those planning to undertake non-academic training or to gain work experience, or for immigration purposes.

Structure and Duration of the test:

No minimum score is required to pass the test. An IELTS result or Test Report Form is issued to all candidates with a score from “band 1” (“non-user”) to “band 9” (“expert user”) and each institution sets a different threshold. There is also a “band 0” score for those who did not attempt the test.
Institutions are advised not to consider a report older than two years to be valid, unless the user proves that he has worked to maintain his level.

IELTS, other than a test, has become a gateway to success today. A standard band score in IELTS not only proves your efficiency in English but also helps you get scholarship in foreign universities and facilitates immigration. Therefore, it can open doors of opportunities for you including living, studying and working around the world.

However, many of the candidates, even being well in English, find IELTS difficult. Because IELTS is a time-bound test, English skills alone cannot help you maximize the score. Being strategic is more important here.  Again, no strategy can help you out unless you are skilled in English. Hence, a super blended approach combining skills and strategies is the only solution to achieve your targeted score.

And you can expect the same from our IELTS Preparation course. This course is specially designed for students and professionals to equip them with all the proven tips, techniques and strategies along with necessary English skills to succeed in IELTS exam.
